As a freelance graphic designer and social media manager for the Roger Williams University field hockey and women’s lacrosse teams, I am responsible for creating graphics that engages current and prospective players, fans, and community members. My work includes designing, posting, and copywriting updated content such as game day graphics, weekly individual player awards, and upcoming team events that boost engagement and excitement surrounding women’s sports. I also create promotional content for upcoming games, short form videos, and celebratory posts for team achievements, ensuring that the teams' accomplishments are visually showcased across all platforms. In addition to content creation, I have worked to establish a strong, consistent social media presence and identity for both teams. By aligning visual elements, tone, and messaging with the teams' values and culture, I have helped create a cohesive look for each season. Through consistent posting and interaction, I’ve cultivated an engaged following across social media platforms. This strategy not only boosts team morale but also increases visibility for both programs within the university community and beyond. My efforts have played a key role in building and maintaining an engaging digital presence that highlights the achievements of both the field hockey and women’s lacrosse teams.
