







Connected is a unique and engaging social card game and brand designed to inspire deeper, more meaningful conversations among players. The concept of the game revolves around sparking dialogue that goes beyond surface-level interactions, allowing participants to explore a wide range of topics and emotions. To facilitate this, the game features a thoughtfully curated set of conversation starters, divided into four categories: Past, Present, Future, and Just For Fun. The development of Connected involved researching other popular social card games to understand what made them engaging, particularly how they balanced humor and depth. I curated a range of conversation starters and tested them with peers to gauge their effectiveness in sparking meaningful and fun conversations. This hands-on research allowed me to refine the game’s flow and ensure it encouraged genuine connections while keeping the gameplay lighthearted and enjoyable. The bold color palette used throughout the game was intentionally chosen to match the vibrant and thought-provoking nature of the questions. Each color not only correlates with the corresponding category but also infuses the game with a sense of energy and excitement. The final package includes everything needed for an immersive game experience: a main box for easy storage, 100 thoughtfully designed conversation cards, a custom four-sided dice for gameplay, and a clear instruction manual to guide players through the rules. Whether played with friends, family, or new acquaintances, Connected is an invitation to step beyond casual chat and explore the depths of personal stories and experiences.
